The Weber MT CR 2 is a versatile, lightweight reversible soil compactor delivering a powerful 25 kN centrifugal force at 100 Hz, making it ideal for sand, gravel, pavement, and asphalt compaction. Available with either a Honda GX 160 gasoline engine (3.6 kW / 4.9 HP) or a Hatz 1 B 20 diesel engine (3.4 kW / 4.6 HP), the CR 2 combines reliable performance with durability for landscaping, hardscaping, and light construction projects.
Its unique base plate design ensures exceptional stability and smooth operation, while infinitely variable forward and reverse travel—paired with hydraulic shifting—provides precise control, even in challenging or confined areas. Operator comfort is enhanced with low hand-arm vibration levels under 2.5 m/s² and a height-adjustable guide bar.
Every CR 2 is equipped with a rugged integrated wheel kit for easy transport around the jobsite, and the engine protection frame with cover safeguards the machine from external damage. Optional accessories—including a polyurethane pad for paver installation and a water sprinkler system for asphalt work—extend its versatility for multiple compaction tasks.
