The Weber MT CR 5 is a high-performance reversible soil compactor engineered for medium-sized compaction jobs in road construction, civil engineering, and landscaping. Delivering a powerful 42 kN centrifugal force with a standard 55 cm working width—expandable to 70 cm via optional extension plates—it combines productivity, durability, and operator comfort.
Available with multiple engine configurations, the CR 5 can be powered by a Honda GX 270 gasoline engine (6.3 kW / 8.6 HP), a Hatz 1 B 30 diesel engine (5.0 kW / 6.8 HP), or a Yanmar L 70 diesel engine (4.8 kW / 6.6 HP). Diesel models are offered with electric start, while the CR 5 CCD variant features both electric start and the COMPATROL® compaction control system for enhanced efficiency.
With hand-arm vibration levels under 2.5 m/s², smooth running characteristics, and a rugged, service-friendly design, the CR 5 ensures reliable, fatigue-free operation. Optional accessories—including extension plates, polyurethane pads, and an hour meter—expand its capabilities for asphalt, pavers, and varied soil types.
