Product Overview – Weber MT Reversible Soil Compactor CR 9
The Weber MT CR 9 is the flagship model in Weber’s premium class of reversible soil compactors, delivering an exceptional 100 kN centrifugal force at 65 Hz. With a standard 75 cm working width—expandable to 90 cm—it is built for the most demanding earthworks, road construction, and paving applications. Low hand-arm vibration levels under 2.5 m/s², balanced operating characteristics, and an ergonomically designed, height-adjustable guide bar ensure optimal operator comfort.
Engine options include the Honda GX 630 two-cylinder gasoline engine (15.5 kW / 20.8 HP) or Hatz diesel engines producing 11.0 kW (14.8 HP) or 10.5 kW (14.1 HP). Diesel variants are available with MDM engine protection, CCD 2.0 compaction control, or Weber Smart Assist (WSA), which provides intuitive diagnostics, guided maintenance, and an integrated compaction progress display. The CR 9 can also be equipped with WEtrac machine data telemetry for remote performance monitoring. All electric-start versions include an hour meter as standard.
Designed for durability and ease of service, the CR 9 features a fully enclosed protective frame, lockable fold-up guide bar, and large lifting eyes for safe transport. Optional extension plates expand working width to 90 cm for maximum coverage.
